Description

Both men are bisexual though Saint is from the city and is out and proud and Lucky is still in the closet fearing his judgey small town.
They get off to a rough start when Lucky has all this contempt for Saint for no reason which I didnt really understand but it made for a slow burn. As they get to know each other and Saint hears Lucky is a m/m virgin, he offers to be his practice toy. Casual no feelings but they are just so perfect for each other. Opposites attract in the best way no matter how much they try to resist it. They have beautiful and believable chemistry. Also Lucky has a kinky secret that I really loved. In addition to the romance I loved Saints Grandmothers story which was his reason for visiting. It was interesting and heartfelt. I loved this beautiful story and will definitely be listening to it again.
As for the performance I liked how he did Alice and nannas voice. The higher choppy tone worked for the old ladies. His narration of the plot lines and His Lucky voice were basically the same and it worked for a white county boy and his Saint voice was ok for a city born African American from what I could tell. But when he played Sienna, Luckys mom and other younger female voices the screechy tone he uses is kind of unbearable. His voice is monotone at times but I could hear the emotions stand out when need be. Overall an ok performance.
