If you’re a fluffy feline haberdasher named Barry with dreams of fame that reach beyond the stars, you’ve got to leave boring old North Platte sometime. Thankfully, NASA’s testing out just the thing...a new space-traveling goo.
Barry’s mind-bending journey whips him into a parallel universe - where cats' ears are used to tell time. This works out well for young Barry - who’s “perfect” Earth-cat ears clearly point noon…a phenomenon never seen before on this alien planet. However, showing off his straight-up ears means Barry is forced to trade his fedora for poster-boy fame. Will Barry take the opportunity to revel in his newfound stardom? Or will he learn a lesson about the myth of perfection?
Filled with tongue-in-cheek humor, witty rhymes, and a heartfelt message, The Cat with the Twelve O’Clock Ears touches something in each of us - the desire to toss "perfect" out the window and be happy with the wonderful misfits we are.
