I am a 40 year old high school math teacher and father of two kids who play four club sports. We have between 0 and 29 sports events per week for our two kids. I am on a sabbatical because I wasn't sure I wanted to be a teacher for the rest of my working life! I tried playing poker "full time" and working on a buddy's farm but neither of those "jobs" are what I want to spend the rest of my life doing. I have spent (most of) the last six months writing and recording my diary because my life is a compilation of the memes I doomscroll on The Gram. These memes include but are not limited to: I can't believe I'm 40 when 1984 was 25 years ago, club sports running my life, starting a diet in the morning and eating Chinese for dinner, wishing it was the 90s for my kid's childhoods, and always wanting to have sex with my wife and/or be on vacation.

It's been fun and I really, really hope it sells a lot of copies and makes many people laugh.
