"A ghoul blood bukake"
The book had me laughing out loud multiple times. The grossout humour is tuned just right without being overbearing.
Performance: the added value of effects really helps in what context what voice is happening. The VA is doing an amazing job at giving each character their own personality.
Story: while initially convoluted the tangle makes some kind of sick sense if you get to the end. The humour and the prose do make it an easier ride through the confusion, but i felt the viewers from the book when they voiced their discontent about it.
I loved the reframing of the first person narration towards the end.
All and all amazing book, if hard to follow in parts.

I can't get enough of the Contained Arnarchy that is Carl and the chaos that follows him everywhere.

can't stop, won't stop
I can't put this series down!
The only weakness to this series is my own thirst for MOAR!

Amazing story
In line with the first two books, the 3rd lives up to the quality storytelling and fantastic narration. A must have for anyone that enjoyed the first two. Has one of the biggest surprise/shocking twists I have ever read/heard in a book/audiobook, that had my jaw on the floor then literally laughing out loud with the craziness! The world Matt has created is so unique and although each book in the series is progressing on the overall story, each book is unique and offers enough of a difference not to feel repetitive when compared to the first two. Overall great addition to the series.

The Drinker makes an appearance
Heheh. This is the second time I'm going through this series in prep for book 6. I don't remember noticing The Drinker being on it before. Just wanted to acknowledge that while I'm contributing my 5* to this book's ratings. After countless tries (easily more than 50) I still only like the same 2 litrpg series: DCC and HHFWM. Everything else is sub par.
The end credits chapter is actually pretty funny.
Jeff is amazing as usual.

Best series of all time?
How is this series so good? As I was approaching the end I started to feel sad that it was almost over.
Jeff Hays again elevates this tale to 5* status. Not many books have me laughing out loud while I listen or yelling in surprise.
The level design was perhaps not as interesting but the introduction of the Anarchist's Cookbook gave me goosebumps.
This might be the first series that I re-listen to once I'm done. It's just amazing.
