The narrator is just not right for this book.

This is not Matt Dinniman's best work by far, but it is not bad. the pacing is rough and the lead up takes a long time. The ending is actually really good but it was a slog to get there. The narrator has a really odd speaking cadence and it made it really hard for me to enjoy it.
