À propos de cet audio
Confidence is based on self-esteem, which shapes people's views of their capabilities. Personal and professional success depends much on confidence—that is, the belief in one's own value, abilities, and potential. Strong self-worth helps people to trust their judgments, express themselves openly, and seize chances without regard to fear. A confident attitude helps people to venture beyond their comfort zones, take chances, and fiercely pursue their goals. Without self-esteem, confidence stays brittle, and people find it difficult to believe in their skills. People's confidence varies closely with their perspective of themselves. Those who have strong self-esteem see their shortcomings and accept them without allowing them to determine their value. They recognize that perfection is impossible, but progress is always within grasp. This self-awareness helps individuals to confront obstacles with a positive attitude, understanding that setbacks do not decide their value. Rather than as a cause for giving up, they grow from mistakes and find inspiration to keep on. On the other side, individuals with low self-esteem typically battle with self-doubt, hesitant to take action owing to fear of making errors. They may continuously compare themselves to others, feeling inadequate rather than acknowledging their own unique talents.
