With over 25 years of personal experience and professional involvement in the counter-trafficking movement, she has gathered intimate knowledge of the depths of trauma survivors endure. Having been sold into the sex trade at a very youngage, she has seen the darkest corners of humanity. However, rather than lettingthose experiences define her, they have ignited a passion within her to contribute to cultural and systemic change in this sphere. At Compass31, their hearts break for those who have been victimized by human trafficking, and they firmly believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. Their mission is to fight this crime through prevention,restoration, and leadership development. This organizations aim to offer transformative hope and healing to those trafficked for sex or labor andprevent this crime from perpetuating through our global education initiatives.
