À propos de cet audio

Woodstock is considered to be one of the most important events in rock history. It attracted an audience of almost 500,000 people when only 25 thousand were expected. A total of thirty-two acts performed with some bands having to go on at 3:30 in the morning. Since they were not prepared for that amount of people everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The festival quickly ran out of food, toilets, and medicine; they couldn’t even build the fence on time so the concert ended up being free. However, sometimes disasters are a blessing in disguise because what followed was an incredible music festival where against all odds it managed to be successful and is cemented as a piece of history.
