I realize that there is a need to dig into the subject "The first 5k". Reaching the first 5 kilometers is the first major milestone for most beginners. In a series of podcast episodes I will go through the main physical and mental challenges that almost all beginners meet in this quest. In this first episode of the sessions I look at the first kilometer, what happens with your body when you start to run from scratch and challenges and blockages will you run into.
