In this episode, Lucas covers the story of one of Russia's most successful serial killers, Alexander Pichushkin, also known by the name Chessboard Killer.
Lucas does an amazing job covering the facts of the case from Alexander's childhood, his serial killing career and his ultimate capture and trial. Alexander's goal was to beat the record of another famous serial killer we covered previously, Andrei Chikatilo. His methods included inviting people to the grave of his dog in the park where he'd bludgeon them to death, usually with a hammer and dispose of them in Moscow's underground sewer system.
