If you remember, 20SG ran some events at several universities (SUNY New Paltz and Marist College) using these rules, and to say everything went smoothly would be an understatement. The game is great for beginners and veterans alike, and I love how no-nonsense the system is. Friends- please enjoy the 2nd half of my conversation with my friend Nick Murray. You might remember that I aired my first conversation with Dr. Murray a few weeks ago, in which we talked all things wargaming, game based learning, etc, and focused on Nick's experiences working at the Naval War College and Johns Hopkins University. In this episode, we spent quite a bit of time talking about Clausewitz, whose text "On War" is one of the most important on the topic of war, why they are fought, and how they are fought. For our 60th episode, Kelly and I spoke to Marcus Vine of Warlord Games. I've always been a fan of Warlord Games, given what they've done to modernize historical wargaming, and I appreciate that Marcus is always up for a chat on the show. We talked all things Warlord, including the new games in our episode title, as well as a few hints about Bolt Action 3.0. 20SG Fans- I'm excited to bring you one of the more "fun" recordings Kelly and I have done- a conversation with Mike Sibilia and Owen Beste of the NOVA Open. We had an absolute blast talking with these guys, who are right around our age and just as passionate about all things tabletop wargaming.
