A fear of being called racist has allowed grooming gangs to run amok. Anti-Semitism has also surged, as Islamist narratives have dominated the West’s debate over the Israel-Hamas war. Here, Kunwar Khuldune Shahid, a Pakistani journalist working for the Diplomat, warns that Western liberalism, secularism and tolerance are all on the line.
