- Trigger warning on this episode regarding bullying and self harm
Our teenage girls are in crises right now, and so are their parents.
As mothers of daughters ourselves we are well aware of the challenges facing our girls and in how to parent them to be their highest selves in this constantly changing landscape. And we know that there are so many other parents out there struggling too... whether its with disrespectful behaviour, bullying, mental health, addictions to substances or social media or simply with complete apathy just to name a few.
So in this episode of The Transformation Project we speak to John McMahon aka ‘The Rev’. John is the founder of Motov8 and Savage Angel who create events for kids between the ages of 11-17 years old and their parents.
MotoV8 is aimed at boys and Savage Angels, which we will be talking about today, is a personal development event for girls that focuses on inspiring, informing & instructing them how to make smarter more informed decisions in life.
Rev and his team want to empower girls to hold core values that will allow them to stand strong in the face of social media & peer group influences, to blaze their own trail & to do it with a great sense of purpose.
Please join us as we discuss ways to help our families become more harmonious and our daughters more inspired to live their best lives
