Annie Atterberry never intended to be an entrepreneur. She found that she thrived most when she was given the opportunity to invest in other people. But a move from Colorado back to her South Carolina roots, Covid, and two young children changed everything. And that’s how her lifestyle subscription box company, called Sweetgrass & Sage, began… out of necessity. She needed something that would allow her to work from home, on her own schedule, and still be able to be present with her two little ones. So, she decided to start her own business. Annie’s passion is to source meaningful goods exclusively from women-owned small businesses.
