In this episode of Rock Solid Devotional, we reflect on Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4:6–8 as he nears the end of his life. He describes his life as a drink offering—fully poured out for Christ—and expresses confidence that his sacrifice was worth it, with the hope of a crown of righteousness laid up for him in eternity.
We are reminded that living with the end in mind helps us focus on what truly matters. Paul’s example challenges us to live as a daily offering, prioritizing eternal significance over temporary distractions. Whether we die young or old, it is how we’ve lived for Christ that will endure.
Key Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:6–8 – "For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."
