À propos de cet audio
Beauty industry veteran Anna McCartney the founder and CEO of Élan Laser Clinics is all about sun safety and skin surveillance after suffering from skin cancer caused by sun damage herself. With Professional Beauty's deputy editor Kezia Parkins, Anna discusses the MASCED training the franchise uses to help their beauty therapists feel empowered to signpost possible cancers and the importance of sharing stories to raise awareness of the dangers of sun-worshipping.
We also spoke about the many ways Élan is championing inclusivity in aesthetics with autism awareness training and the NHS contract that sees trans patients referred to the clinic chain for laser hair removal during their transition journeys.
Anna will be speaking all things skin surveillance at PB North in Manchester which is taking place on 24-25 September so head over to the Professional Beauty website to register and book her session.
