    Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart hooked up for an extremely entertaining match in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup (formerly the DFL-Supercup), which reminded fans of why we are all here in the first place. Bayern Munich would go on to win 2-1 thanks to some heroics from Manuel Neuer.

    While it still might be early in the season, the boys from both Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart were flying around as tension between the clubs had heightened prior to the contest because of the ongoing Nick Woltemade transfer saga.
