  • Forgetting those things that are in the past and going forward in God
    Oct 3 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 28, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When we allow ourselves to think on the past, we often become depressed or go in the way of destruction. We cannot go forward if we linger in the past memories. The apostle Paul said to the church: Philippians 3:12-15 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: We cannot dwell in the past and go forward with God. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; We must learn to live in the current season. 💥💥💥💥💥

  • The religious people who do not have the Spirit will always twist things of God
    Oct 2 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 20, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... John 9 14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his (the blind man's) eyes. 16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. The Word does bring division. For that person who understands the word will be divided from that person who has joined a church but does not understand the Word of God. Therefore when a religious person does not have the Spirit of God, he will fail to see the miracle and pick away at the letter of the law, which he has misinterpreted. Religious people often strain at gnats while swallowing camels. The church are those individuals who have the Spirit of God in them and who are led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Paul explains: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. • Rejoice in the Lord, The Word
    Oct 1 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 27, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jesus tells us to lay up treasure in heaven, not on this present earth. (Matthew 6:19-20) As we rejoice in the WORD, we keep our minds stayed on the WORD. The WORD is our treasure and it is treasure on this earth as we live here and it will be stored up for us also in heaven. So what WORD is our treasure now? * THE WORD came to this earth in the form of a man, Jesus, to die for us to pay for our sins with HIS blood. The people of this world try to save themselves by their own works. But we are saved by THE WORD, by HIS works. As we live in the Word, we abide in HIM. * I'm also grateful that God did not leave us alone on this earth. God and Jesus are with each of us constantly to teach us and guide us and even show us things to come. We are not alone. Jesus is in us and with us at all times by HIS Spirit. II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? And the Holy Spirit of Jesus who is in us does the following things for us: John 14:26 Jesus said ... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. So we are never alone at any time on this earth. Jesus dwells in us by HIS Spirit to guide us and teach us. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

  • God creates new heaven and new earth and we will not even remember this present earth
    Sep 30 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 25, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... God says: Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. All these things that trouble us will not even be remembered when we are taken into the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. The apostle John describes the new heaven and new earth as follows: Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And this present life will not even come into our minds again! In the meantime, the apostle Paul tells us: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: (Philippians 3:13-15) 💥💥💥💥💥

  • I John 4:4 Greater is HE that is in you than he that is in the world
    Sep 29 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 22, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The Holy Spirit is in us. John 14:26 Jesus said ... The spirit of this world is in the people of this world. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Knowing the children of God: John 4:4-6 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

  • We, who belong to God, hear the voice of Jesus and we will not follow strangers
    Sep 28 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 21, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... John 10 Jesus says: 9 I (The Word) am the door: by ME if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 27 My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow me: We hear the voice of Jesus when HE speaks to us by HIS Spirit. We recognize HIS voice. We follow HIS voice. But the voice of a strange spirit we will not follow for we know it is not HIS voice for we are HIS sheep. John 10 Jesus says ... 1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear HIS voice: and HE calleth HIS own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when HE putteth forth HIS own sheep, HE goeth before them, and the sheep follow HIM: for they know HIS voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. God's voice is pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. • Jesus raises the dead and changes the living into new spiritual bodies taking them to the new heavens and the new earth
    Sep 27 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 20, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Before we are taken into heaven, we are changed out of this present body and given a new spiritual body, says Paul in I Corinthians 15. Paul says: There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Blink! That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies before we are taken into heaven. Then Paul tells about Jesus raising those who have died. I Thessalonians 4 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead). 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Jesus takes us to the new heavens and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. For the great tribulation will come upon this present earth and after that this heaven and earth will be destroyed by God by fire. (2 Peter 3:10-14) *** God showed the apostle John the new heaven and new earth. Revelation 21 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. ***** We will be changed into new spiritual bodies before we are taken into the air to be with Jesus. I Corinthians 15 The apostle Paul says: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (Blink. That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies.) 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. *** After the great tribulation, God destroys this present heaven and earth. II Peter 3 Peter says: 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall ...

  • The disciples ask Jesus, "What is the sign of your coming and the end of the world?
    Sep 26 2025
(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 19, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Matthew 24 1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. (At the end of this world, everything we can see with our natural eye will be destroyed by God. II Peter 3:10-14) 3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Jesus went on to tell them many other things that would happen at the end of this world, but the first sign to look for is people would come saying Jesus is the Christ and because they say Jesus is the Lord, they would deceive many into thinking they were really of God when they did not have the Spirit. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
