How much time per day do you waste through distractions?
Being distracted is normal and ok and not necessarily bad, but when you find yourself being constantly distracted and unable to focus it can become a problem.
So what’s the remedy?
Building up your tolerance to be still and silent.
I know it feels counterintuitive.
But spending small moments of doing nothing can actually serve you.
It’s amazing how difficult and challenging it can be just to sit still for a few minutes.
But these few minutes can give you back control and bring a moment of calm.
You can then reengage with the world with more focus, clarity and intent.
Can you resist the urge to not check your email or pick up your phone for a few minutes?
