Sometimes we have to wait, but God is in the waiting. In Acts 1:12-26, we see the disciples being of one mind and one accord, praying together, reading Scripture, and trusting Jesus while they wait on the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is still on mission today through the Holy Spirit in the lives of those in the Church. As Jesus baptizes us in the Spirit, we are united to Him and to His body and empowered for mission to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:5 - For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
