On today’s episode of the Stories to Create podcast, Cornell Bunting sits down with Carolina Ferrer, founder of Carolina Compassionate Counseling, LLC. Born in Colombia and raised in the U.S. from a young age, Carolina is a compassionate, bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has served the SWFL community for over 16 years. She’s also a qualified supervisor and mentor for clinicians seeking licensure.
Carolina works across the lifespan—children, adolescents, young adults, and seniors—and is especially passionate about helping couples and families improve communication. She emphasizes community connection, reduces mental-health stigma within organizations, and teaches practical stress-reduction techniques. In her practice, she integrates mind–body approaches and facilitates meaningful group connections.
Areas of specialization include:
- Trauma; grief and loss; relationship issues
- ADD/ADHD; depression; anxiety; coping skills; self-esteem
- Infertility; family conflict; unexpected birthing outcomes
- Perinatal/maternal postpartum disorders
Why choose Carolina: Her contagious passion fosters healing and self-awareness in a nonjudgmental, guilt-free space. When you enter Carolina’s Compassionate Counseling office, you’re invited to craft an individualized life plan and pursue your unique, divine purpose.
Carolina is joined in this conversation by Rudy Ramos and Joshua Singh, who offer their perspectives on several of the topics discussed.
