March is Women’s History Month. Celebrate yourself Queen! Women's History Month is an annual observance to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Throughout history, the vision and achievements of powerful women have strengthened our Nation and opened the doors of opportunity wider for all of us. Women should be celebrated every day, but a month dedicated to female empowerment is extremely special. In episode 17, “Bad Girl Syndrome” we’re analyzing the makings of a baddie. Baddies challenge gender roles by shifting power dynamics and by not conforming to traditional feminine qualities. Somehow, the idea of a baddie has transitioned and has become misconstrued in many ways. Toxic baddie culture is trendy and is heavily associated with the over sexualization of women. It’s time to change the narrative and reclaim our power. To learn more about social reform and how to participate in movement of Women’s Right visit www.womenshistorymonth.gov
