À propos de cet audio
"Eggs" is a comedy, by Edward Mulryne and Sahar Yousefi, about a couple getting ready to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Eamon is British of Irish descent and Shaparak is American of Persian descent. Over the course of the play, they each learn a little more about each other, the strengthening of their relationship reflecting the theme of rebirth, which is an important part of Nowruz. Featuring culture clashes, discussions of everyday racism, witty dialogue and moments of real tenderness. "Eggs" is an affectionate, entertaining and thoughtful romantic comedy exploring the immigrant experience.
(5/7) The conversation turns political as Eamon and Shaparak bravely try to fend off the dark forces of sleep.
