À propos de cet audio
Ten years ago, Fast Eddy, or Edward Dostaler as he's known legally, began his run across Canada, and then he ran back, all in support of Alzheimer's and breast cancer awareness (8:34). Eddy made stops in Red Deer going both directions, and made a profound impact on the many Canadians he met along the way, including yours truly, the host of this podcast, Josh Hall. Eddy has now written a book about his experience, called Iceberg, which he hopes will help Canadians unite, and also give them a perspective that may help in times of loneliness or doubt. Iceberg is available for pre-sale NOW on Amazon and IngramSpark. Find the companion written piece to this episode at rdnewsNOW.com. Of course, listen to the start of the podcast for In Case You Missed It (3:45), where we go through the top 5 stories of the week at rdnewsNOW.com, plus some notes about a couple of worthwhile opportunities in the community -- and stay tuned for The Page, in partnership with Red Deer Public Library!
