This week we binged watched, ‘I fought the Law (the Ann Ming story)’. Ann’s story starts in November 1989, when her daughter, twenty-two-year-old Julie Hogg, vanished. Her family knew immediately that something was terribly wrong. Nearly three months after Julie's disappearance, Ann noticed a foul smell coming from the bathroom. Pushing on a loose bath panel, she made a discovery that no mother should ever have to make. Hidden behind the panel was Julie's body. This was the beginning of a 17 year fight to bring justice for Julie and change the Double Jeopardy rules in the UK.Then Ali tells us the tragic story of baby Doreen and baby Dawn, culminating in a discussion about the trial of Ernest Charles Digby and his wife Olga and the chilling events surrounding the deaths of their babies.Light-hearted relief brought to you by the discussion of the naming of lady 'bits' and Ali calling Sarah his zero!Scottish word of the Week: Spurtle @turningwoodworks would you like to advertise with us ;)Use code 'hooked' for 10% off your Crime Con UK tickets for Manchester on the 27th of September.*Warning - discussion of murder, - both adult and baby.
