I've been having lots of thoughts about creativity lately, and watching the new documentary on film composer John Williams poured fuel on that fire. In today's episode, I'm discussing some components of our current society today that have the ability to discourage creativity, and encouraging you to create for the sake of creating.
We're made in the Image and Likeness of God, and that means we've been given an ability to create because we're made in the Image and Likeness of the Creator. Creating just for the sake of creating can be counterintuitive for several reasons in today's culture, but by no means does this mean creativity shouldn't be engaged with for the sake of itself. Creativity is good for us, both in body and in soul.
