 Today we talk with Regina Martin, educator, speaker and author is the founder of Dare to Dream Motivational Speaking and Coaching LLC. She is a wife and mother to three adult children. She has a decade in secondary and post education platforms which include TRIO and GEAR UP and inspires audiences to Dare to Dream while building their next chapter. As an educator, she takes her expertise from classroom to the stage. As a professor, she inspires her college students to be successful in and out of the classroom. The power of the educated mind is something that should always be celebrated. As the Co-Author of The Fire Girl Code of Conduct: 12 Laws to Living Her Life on Fire, Regina brings her own perspective of how You Can Control Your Destiny by creating the roadmap to being successful in entrepreneurship and in life. Her new book, "You Belong Here-Transitioning from High School to College focuses on student success." is available for purchase on Amazon. This platform is also her sounding board because as a woman that lacked confidence and never felt that she was good enough or she did not belong. Daring to dream was something that she felt opened her mind, her voice and her vision. In today's episode, Regina and Amy discuss how young adults can overcome their own adversity from growing up to pursue their college education and achieve their dreams. It doesn’t matter where you grow up, or the quality of your childhood, parents, or siblings, It doesn't matter what traumas you have endured, you can change your life, dream big and reach your goals in spite of it all! Regina overcame her own personal adversity of completing her Masters later in life while raising her family, including her autistic son. Regina is the picture of wisdom and just what is possible when we have a dream and are determined to reach it. Regina has positioned herself as an expert in her field, her " never give up on you" mentally is contagious and you will leave inspired to achieve your dreams at any stage in life!
