Farah Benis is increasingly well known on the security circuit around the globe. An entrepreneur, Farah runs her own security business; is a volunteer leader who has championed a number of causes, many supporting women in security; and was the winner of the Outstanding Female category at the UK OSPAs and represents the UK at the Global OSPAs in January.
In this podcast you will hear Farah discuss her early experiences in the security sector in Africa. Then driven by a difficulty in working for others, the implications of having ADHD, and a desire to shape her own destiny started her own security company. Farah discusses initiatives she has started to champion the cause of women, and some the challenges that remain; as well as the state of security in the UK and Africa
