À propos de cet audio

Episode Summary: In this episode, we explore the power of menstrual cycle awareness and how tuning into your natural rhythms can transform creativity, productivity, and relationships. Whether you have a cycle yourself or love someone who does, understanding these patterns can bring more ease, compassion, and flow into everyday life.

I’m joined by menstrual mentor Sophie Willow , who shares insights on the Inner Seasons of the Menstrual Cycle—your personal guide to navigating the rise and fall of hormones throughout the month. By recognizing the unique strengths and challenges of each phase, you can work with your cycle instead of against it, making life feel more intuitive and aligned.

The Inner Seasons of the Menstrual Cycle: Each menstrual month mirrors the cycles of nature, with four distinct phases that bring shifts in energy, focus, and emotional landscape:

Winter (Days 27-5 approx.) ❄️

  • Characteristics: Detachment, stillness, effortless presence, restoration, acceptance, inner connection, guidance and instruction.
  • Best for: Rest, deep reflection, visioning, journaling, slow creativity.

Spring (Days 6-11 approx.) 🌱

  • Characteristics: Innocence, curiosity, tenderness, playfulness, surging energy, possibility, desire.
  • Best for: Trying new things, brainstorming, building momentum, setting intentions.

Summer (Days 12-19 approx.) ☀️

  • Characteristics: Outward focus, high energy, taking charge, visibility, gratitude, pleasure, charm, connecting with others.
  • Best for: Socializing, performing, executing plans, public speaking, launching projects.

Autumn (Days 20-26 approx.) 🍂

  • Characteristics: Discernment, insight, saying ‘no,’ critical perspective, taking responsibility, editing, channeling, losing it.
  • Best for: Refining ideas, deep work, setting boundaries, evaluating progress.

By recognizing and embracing these shifts, you can cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and others, allowing for a more intuitive and sustainable approach to work, relationships, and creativity.
