Welcome to EverydayFI, where we explore the lives of everyday people pursuing financial independence. I’m your host, Meghan Combs, and in this show I want to show you that you don’t need a multi-million dollar book deal or famous podcast to reach financial independence early. By talking with real humans I’ll show you how to forge your own path to financial freedom the everyday way.

We’re back with part two of Ingrid’s story. In this episode we dive into Ingrid’s life and financial independence journey. Starting from early money memories and high school jobs, she talks through her development of a strong desire for independence. Ingrid’s shares her thoughts on the significance of community, through both FIRE circles and language learning groups, and on privacy versus public sharing within the FIRE community. We again dive into travel stories, including touching on the value of group travel experiences. Towards the end Ingrid shares her practical life hack and her 'Hell Yeah or No' decision-making framework. Tune in to hear Ingrid’s full story.
