À propos de cet audio

This show will go over how people became friends and how music had a part in it. Every person is different and so is their experience and our shared experience. I look forward to you meeting some of my friends. They range from the music listener to avid concert going, from people working with bands or being in one themselves. The overall mission of this platform is to be positive and highlight my friends and the stories we share. Some sensitive topics such as politics will be avoided, not because they are not important, but because we want to keep the experience light and music based.Friends In Music Musique

  • Hit My Line for a Good Time with Andie R.
    Jul 15 2025

Andie IS the party - whether she rolls up in a party bus or not. As a self-proclaimed “girly pop” and live music lover, you can usually find her planning multiple outfits for an upcoming occasion. Check out today’s episode to hear how she scored a spot in a Papa Roach music video, flew to Germany for Taylor Swift, and ended up at a Donna Summers concert.

As Andie puts it - “Music has been there for me throughout my whole life. It’s always been something that I can connect with and relate to.”

  • Warped Tour Recap: All the Hits with Bowling Champion Danielle / Not My Warped Tour with Grumpy Blair
    Jul 8 2025

Episode two of our Warped Tour recap series is here! From bowling to baseball, we had a great week! Danielle was her usual bubbly self and would go back in a heartbeat. Blair? Still undecided - but makes it pretty clear with his grumpy “not my warped tour” statements. One thing is for sure, we all survived the white tiles. We caught part of Asking Alexandria’s set which seemed fine to us but now the internet’s losing it. We were also reminded of a universal truth: seeing a band live can make you like them more (unless it’s Bud from Senses Fail, who was “not giving”).

We also get into our version of book club—album review club—and talk through some festival highlights and fails like bands stalling during 30-minute sets, We the Kings making everyone bend over mid-show, and more. Check out the episode and let us know what you think!

“Sad it’s over, glad it happened. I’d do it again!” -Danielle

“I’m glad it’s back but for now, if you wanna see these bands, watch them somewhere else” -Blair

  • Warped Tour Recap: “Shut Up” with Christian
    Jul 1 2025

In the next 3 episodes we will dive into Warped Tour 2025 and hear from Christian, Danielle, Andie, and Blair. Each will give their overview of the festival and bands. Each person has a pre and post-show segment. The overall feedback from our group ranges from would definitely return, to not really interested. There have been some controversial / funny topics that social media has brought up around this year's warped tour and we will give our views on those things like the crazy white tiles, poor sound quality, crowded areas, and port-a-potties.

As promised, the first episode of our Warped Tour 2025 recap is here! We’re hearing from Christian, who gives us his full rundown of this year’s festival (which seemed like a positive experience). He didn’t let the rain, nasty tiles, or disgusting port-a-potties bring him down. He got his money’s worth by catching as many bands as possible, running into artists left and right, and somehow always being in the right place at the right time. Talk about Warped luck! Spoiler alert - Blair (in all of his grumpiness) had a classic agree-to-disagree moment with Christian and was little more open with calling out a few areas where Warped missed the mark. Check out the episode and let us know what you think!
