We're road trippin together! Allow me to take you for a spin while I yap about what life has been feeling like lately. If you're familiar with the feelings associated with imposter syndrome, thinking you have to show up perfectly every time, or being unsure of how much you've "healed" or "accepted" about yourself, then this episode has come to find you in divine timing my friend.

Fuck the perfectionism, fuck the expectations. We're embracing the messiness of life and finding who we are in the process. Let this episode be a catalyst to fully embodying who you already are.

Some things we talk about in this episode:

  • Imposter syndrome--> thinking that you have to be or show up in a specific way in order to be worthy of what you ALREADY are. Not feeling like you deserve it or "feel" enough like whatever it is you get this feeling from.
  • Showing up doesn't require you to be "perfect," it just requires you to be present. Putting expectations behind everything you do just limits you completely and keeps you in a confined box that was created by your fear of failure. Let yourself fly my love.
  • What does "acceptance" actually mean and how do you do it? Why do you need acceptance to heal? How healed really are you if there's still things you know you need to accept about yourself?
  • Obsessing over someone and thinking you want to be them--> what this actually tells you about yourself.

Journal prompts for this episode:

  1. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most healed), where would you consider yourself to be? Why? What makes you as healed as you are and what makes you not healed enough yet?
  2. What has been the hardest thing for you to accept about yourself? Are you fully there yet or do you feel like there's more work to be done? What expectation are you putting on yourself to heal this part of you?
  3. What is the main purpose/intention behind your healing? Is it to know yourself better? To be at peace, etc?
  4. When imposter syndrome kicks in, what do you notice is the first thing you tell yourself? Is it that you're not doing enough? That you don't "feel" like ____? Now ask yourself if these thoughts are actually rationally true, or if they're simply just thoughts
