Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking a Boulevard while Matthew is drinking a Brooklyn. Recipes below.
Boulevard- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Averna
- 2 tsp Cherry Heering liqueur
- 1/2 tsp Absinthe
- Combine all ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Stir to desired level of dilution. Strain into stemmed cocktail glass and garnish with a brandied cherry.
Brooklyn
- 2oz Rye (or Bourbon)
- 1 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 1/4 oz Amaro Nonino
- Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Serve without a garnish or a brandied cherry or orange twist if you must.
