  • Welcome to the ‘Small Acts Big Changes’ podcast series. My name is Mike Haines and I am the founder of Global Acts of Unity. This special episode is for Hate Crime Awareness Week, exploring the mental and emotional impact of hate crime and the importance of not letting hate win.

In this episode, I speak to Exit UK founder Nigel Bromage. Nigel lost 20 years of his life to the far-right before turning his back on extremism and hate. Manipulated and radicalised as a teenager, he spent decades in organisations such as the National Front, British Movement and other extremist groups. Nigel now uses his experience to help stop others from getting drawn into far-right narratives and support those looking for a way out.
