À propos de cet audio
On this episode, I'm joined by Alex Holmes, the author of "Time to Talk: How men think about love, belonging, and connection". Alex is a student psychotherapist and works as an existential mental health coach. He also hosts the podcast; "Time to Talk with Alex Holmes".
We begin our conversation by discussing existential psychotherapy and how it differs from traditional psychotherapy. Next, we talk about the importance of not comparing yourself to others, and how to quiet your inner critic. Alex then dives into his love for words, how it led to his book, and asks the question of “What does it mean to be a man?” Do men want to have vulnerable conversations? Is it just a matter of creating a safe space? What does a safe space look like exactly? Lastly, what brings you hope?
