I. Live confidently

The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.

Isaiah 40:8 (NASB95)

For, “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF, BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.” And this is the word which was preached to you.

II. Live Obediently

He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;

III. Live Ready

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
