  • This week Amy and Michael drive supplies to Lake Charles and help their friends at Big Sky Ranch on the ground in Louisiana.  They lend support to some local cat groups, feed left behind strays and help get a pit bull puppy off the dangerous streets.  Then a trip to the Baton Rouge Expo facility where Cara's House runs a hurricane intake that needed bottle feeding volunteers.  The bottle babies had left on transport already but there was no way Amy was leaving empty handed when there were nursing and pregnant cats fading in the 109 degree heat.

    Meanwhile, Kristin and Sandy place 15 pets in their forever homes during their weekly PetSmart adoption clinic.  All in all a very busy but good week.
