The Tampa Bay Rays lose the final game of the series to the White Sox 5-1. The Rays could not get the big hit today. The Rays had multiple opportunities with RISP but could not come through with a single hit with a man in scoring position. The White Sox got things started right away with a 2 run first inning. They would add another 3 runs in the 6th inning to make it 5-0. The Rays only run would come in the 8th inning on a RBI ground out. Ian Seymour started for the Rays and was solid. He went 5.2 IP striking out 5 allowing 3 runs. The Playoffs are all but a fantasy for the Rays at this point. They will head to the north side of Chicago to play the Cubs starting tomorrow night.
