À propos de cet audio
Today is our National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Sept. 28th marked the fifth anniversary of the death of Joyce Echaquan, an Indigenous woman who livestreamed the racist and degrading comments she endured from hospital staff in Joliette just before she passed away. Her story shocked Quebec and the country, sparking outrage and calls for systemic change in our health-care system. Alex McComber, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University, talks to Ken Connors.
