  • Résumé

  • What's better than being inspired by words of affirmation and most importantly knowing that you aren't the only one who has gone through troubled times. Each episode will discuss subjects that can or may be affecting your mental health, but most importantly each episode will provide ways of coping with the mental stresses discussed in that episode. You will hear from people who have quite possibly been in your troubled or dark space, but found their way past them. The purpose of this podcast is not to offer medical advice or medical opinions, but to provide hope through love & forward thinking

  • S2E1 30 vs 60 Life In Parts
    May 11 2025

Life is NOT like a box of chocolates because chocolates doesn’t get any sweeter with age, as life is supposed to. Fate and experience are often determinative factors to living a sweet life, but both requires the recipient of a sweet life to be a learned individual and not necessarily from books. Socrates is attributed with writing “the unexamined life is not worth living.” What that means to me is a life not challenged by adversity is a life suffering from malnutrition of the soul. Physical and emotional nourishment comes from growth, which happens in stages. Thus, us living our lives in parts.

Understanding that helps us to see beyond the fog of life and into the center of our being where clarity lives. Otherwise, we are doomed to live life in fractured pieces. Life is truly a stage, but how we live it depends on fate or experience and only those things can help us make better decisions that will hopefully lead us to our destiny as ordered by our maker. Life at 30 is supposed to be clearer at 60, but sometimes clarity is loss by prioritizing the wrong things, which may lead us to places we rather not go.

It takes great courage to share your trials and tribulations to the world, but it also takes a small amount of empathy to want to help others avoid the pitfalls that led to them.

Many thanks to my guest on this episode and to the others who had previously appeared and shared their personal stories or opinions about life.

  • S1E6 Defining Masculinity In The 21st Century
    Sep 14 2024

What does love have to do with how men view women in the 21stcentury? Well, it seems to depend on how men and women define masculinity. This episode explores roles that are or were traditionally held by men and whehter they should be occupied by women, even if women are qualified to hold them.

There is a great deal of discussions about the term Toxic Masculinity and whether, as the guest in this episode believes is a term that was made up by women to push back against men who have a traditional view of a woman’s place in relationships.

  • S1E5 Purpose Driven Love
    Aug 27 2024

There is not a day that goes by where someone should be without love, not just any love but perfect love! It seems at times to some if not most people that such a thing doesn’t exists and if it does they don’t know when they are face to face to something so beautiful and precious. What is perfect love and how does one know that they are receiving it or are sharing it. Simple, because they have listened to this episode!! Love does have a purpose and it’s life altering or can be life altering if we practice what Mrs. Aretha Y. Ballen speaks of in this episode and in the book that she contributed to. You can find that book at mysacredtemplellc.com. And please share the link to this episode, after you have subscribed to this Podcast, with others who long for love or are apprehensive about stepping in the pool of faith to experience it.
