  • On Just Another Monster S1E8: The Menace of South Fork I cover the murder of 18 year old Mandy Stavik from the small town of Acme, Washington. Mandy was visiting her mother and friends during Thanksgiving break in 1989. The day after Thanksgiving Mandy left for her regular run along the country roads of Acme with her German Shepherd companion "Kyra". Hours later Kyra returned home but Mandy didn't. 3 days later Mandys body was found in the Nooksack river but it would take nearly 30 years to solve her murder.
