Episode Summary
Today we're doing something a little different - a bonus episode! We recently fell down the rabbit hole of Stacy DeGrandchamp's story.
Stacy was just 17 when she went to a house party in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2002. By the end of the night, she was gone - stabbed during a fight with her former best friend, Holly Boisvert.
Despite everyone suspecting Holly, the case went cold for seventeen years. It wasn't until Holly finally confessed - and handed over the knife - that Stacy's family got the justice they had been waiting for.
This episode is a shorter, more conversational dive into Stacy's world, the messy teenage friendship at the heart of it all, and the long road to accountability.
