• Sustainable Ozark Partnership meeting provided updates on Fort Leonard Wood hospital maintaining current care levels and improved housing plans
• Anthony Harold nominated to fill Councilman Ryan Hicks' unexpired term in Ward 2, pending council approval at Thursday's meeting
• Current openings available on the planning and zoning board with applications at waynesvillemog.org
• City Hall will be closed September 1st for Labor Day
• Upcoming community events include the Pink Sugar Events Car and Craft Show (August 30th) and Armed Services YMCA Patriot Day (September 13th)
• Important reminder to remain cautious during school hours and watch for children at bus stops
I encourage everyone to consider volunteering for one of our city boards. Even if there are no immediate openings, we maintain a pool of candidates for future consideration.
