Dusting off dated notions, she discovers the stark contrast between our understanding of religious and cultural influence on the average Arabian woman, versus what could possibly be traditions based out of deference and/personal preference. Not only this, when we look at the common denominator of being a woman and the labels and hurdles we may experience as a result, maybe their lives and experiences aren’t much different than ours and indeed we are all playing in the same sand box.
