  • Case #1: Fridge Blindness
    May 14 2025

He opened the fridge. He stared into the void. The mustard was right there... and yet, he saw nothing. Coincidence? Or cover-up?

In this inaugural episode of The Unsolved Mysteries of Mundane Life, we expose a phenomenon so widespread, so domestically devastating, it can only mean one thing: there's something they’re not telling us about the fridge.

Fridge Blindness — the baffling inability (primarily among men) to see objects that are clearly, undeniably, right there. Is it just laziness? Or could it be the result of ancient hunter-gatherer wiring, subconscious household sabotage, or a coordinated psychological operation conducted by condiments?

Join host Dean Stansbery as we speak with definitely real experts, conduct covert kitchen experiments, and consider shocking new theories — including one involving interdimensional bachelors, quantum fridge fields, and milk cartons that may or may not be alive.

If you or someone you love has ever uttered the words, “There’s nothing in here,” while staring into a fully stocked fridge… you might already be part of the conspiracy.

    “It’s not just ketchup… it’s a cover-up.”

In fact, she doesn't technically exist — but don’t tell her that, she’s applying for a grant. And if any characters sound suspiciously familiar... that’s either voice cloning or a highly-trained team of budget-conscious impersonators. You decide.
