  • The History of the LGBTQ Rights Movement: Part Three.
    Jun 30 2025

Welcome to episode three of the LGBTQ right movement, I suggest you go back and listen to the other two episodes before getting into the third. In this episode, I talk about the incredible and stigmatizing effect that the HIV/AIDS crisis had on society. Including a woman named Ruth Coker Burks who in an incredible show of love, faith and kindness took care of men who were on death’s door from AIDS. I also discuss the back and forth laws made about allowing gay people and transgender people to serve in the military. While it’s the 2020’s, the LGBTQ community is still fighting for the basic human rights that they deserve.

  • The History of the LGBTQ Rights Movement: Part Two.
    Jun 30 2025

Welcome to episode two of the LGBTQ rights movement, I highly suggest you listen to the first episode before getting into the second one. In this episode, I talk about everything from the Stonewall Uprising that was a huge catalyst in change brought to the LGBTQ community, as well as the fight that Anita Bryant brought to the LGBTQ community and the war that Harvey Milk brought right back to her, and the tragic fate that he faced at the hands of a man who used the excuse of too much sugary foods for the reason that he killed an innocent man.

  • The History of the LGBTQ Rights Movement: Part One.
    Jun 30 2025

Homosexuality has been prevalent in humankind since the moment we walked on this earth, but it has taken a long time for society to come to terms with the fact that homosexuality is biological, one does not choose to be gay, they simply are born that way. The United States has a long and terrifying history when it comes to LGBTQ rights. While the LGBTQ community has constantly fought for the simple rights of being treated like human beings, they have been met with backlash at every step.
