Old Blood > New Crime

I just moved my podcast listening from Spotify to here and I was SO pleased to see that I could still listen to Old Blood. Most, if not all, True Crime podcasts really leave a bad taste in my mouth. Profiting from the sensationalization of someone’s violent death and their family’s life long trauma, many of whom are alive today, does not sit right with me. Thus, I much prefer the dusty and oxidized stories of long forgotten tragedies whose tellings no longer risk the disturbance of immediate family. In fact, Old Blood brings a maturity to these topics that, I would like to think, offers these victims of violence and hardship the respect and remembrance they deserve. I send my love and thanks! Please keep creating these fascinating episodes:)
