  • Let’s Talk About Socialisation
    Oct 26 2025

In this episode, Paula and Georgia dive into the world of socialisation — what it really means, how to approach it, and why it’s such an essential part of raising a well-rounded dog.

We chat about how different breeds may need different experiences, why there’s no one-size-fits-all method, and how we tailor socialisation to fit our own lifestyles (and our dogs’ needs).

Socialisation plays a huge role in creating confident, happy dogs and harmonious homes — so let’s get into it!

If you'd like more on this Paula (Bronte Canine Dog Training) has done a
short video on it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mF6CkPgRLDc

  • Prey Drive !!!
    Apr 26 2025

In this episode, we’re diving into prey drive – what it is, how it shows up in our dogs, and most importantly, how we can work with it.

Prey drive is a hot topic and one we absolutely loved recording. It’s something most owners and trainers will encounter at some point, especially if you’re working with high-energy or working breeds.

Paula and Georgia both own working dogs, so prey drive is something they manage and work with every day. In this episode, they share their real-world experiences – the challenges, the wins, and why, ultimately, prey drive is something they need in their dogs.

Understanding prey drive is a key part of successful training. It can be one of your greatest assets when channeled correctly — but if left unmanaged, it can just as easily become a curse.

We dive into all of that and more, and we really hope you enjoy the show!
