What to know
San Francisco police released footage from a Sept. 4 showing a suspect lunging at an officer with scissors before he was shot in the chest.
The suspect was hospitalized in stable condition and later charged with multiple felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon and threats to an officer.
The shooting is under investigation.
