 The Red Sox (44-45) celebrated Independence Day with a (9-0) win over the Nationals in Washington, D.C. on Friday. The Sox have won 4 of their last 6 Games. The win snapped the Red Sox 5-game road losing streak. -----Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board 1st with 2 runs in the 2nd Inning against Michael Soroka. Ceddanne Rafaela made it 1-0 with an RBI Double and he scored on a 2-out Single from Jarren Duran. Trevor Story reached with an infield Single in the 2nd Inning to extend his hit streak to 6 in a row. Story capped his 4-hit day with a 2-run Home Run in the 8th and has 13 hits (10 RBIs) during his current hit streak. The Sox sent 12 batters to the plate and broke the game open with a 7-run 5th Inning. Story had a 2-run Single and Jarren Duran had 2-out, 2-run Double in the Inning.
